Aaaarg!

I'm knitting trying to knit Branching Out and it's really kicking my butt. I had to frog it last night for the first time, and I'm looking at frogging again today because somehow on row 9 I lost a stitch. This is my first time knitting lace and it's really discouraging to not be able to even complete one pattern repeat. I think it's one of the more complicated stitches that tripped me up but I really don't know which one. :( And the yarn I'm using is splitting a lot, which isn't helping matters at all.
